Study of Indonesian Maritime Continent (IMC) diurnal convective activity is important because recently limited to certain region in IMC. Study of pseudo-vector used to representated both two data component (convergence and convection) in one chart. The used data are high resolution cloud and wind data to representated complex land-sea-atmosphere interaction. After convection index and convergence values was calculated, then they normalized to each component, and then phase was calculated. General pattern of diurnal IMC appears that convection in the ocean occurs in early morning until noon, while the convection in the land occurred in the afternoon until the evening. Due to convection and convergence patterns show the same pattern, this suggests linkage relationship between wind convergence with convection. In addition to these general patterns, there are also local diurnal pattern of wind direction IMC is a pattern that shows no connection with land or sea breeze winds.
