COULOMB STATIC STRESS CHANGE DALAM INTERAKSI GEMPABUMI DOUBLETS 5.8 Mw DAN 5.9 Mw 22 JANUARI 2007 DAN GEMPABUMI 7.0 Mw 16 JUNI 2010 DI WILAYAH PAPUA

We identified an earthquake sequence over Papua region. Its strart from doublets earthquake on 22 January 2007 with 5,8 Mw and 5,9 Mw. Followed by 7,0 Mw that struck on 16 June 2010, 5,8 Mw earthquake produce the increasement of coulomb stress pattern 0,02-0,09 bar NE-SW. Area where the increasement of coulomb stress change in NE, become the future 5,9 Mw epicenter. Then, after the 5,9 Mw struck, new pattern of coulomb stress change showed. Coulomb stress change increase from North to South with 0,02-0,09 bar. The Northern area of the 5,9 Mw epicenter where the coulomb stress increase is the location of 7,0 Mw future epicenter. This result show that increasement of coulomb stress change in positive value between 0 < sf < 1 could trigger future nearby earthquakes.
