APLIKASI HOPFIELD NEURAL NETWORK UNTUK PRAKIRAAN CUACA

Prakiraan cuaca ditentukan oleh unsur-unsur cuaca, beberapa diantaranya adalah arah angin, suhu udara, kelembaban udara, dan tekanan udara. Daerah Cilacap sebagai daerah rawan banjir sekaligus rawan kekeringan sangat menarik untuk diteliti bagaimana sifat-sifat unsur cuacanya. Metode Hopfield Neural Network sebagai aplikasi untuk prakiraan cuaca, karena metode ini dapat memberikan klasifikasi cuaca. Pada metode Hopfield unsur-unsur cuaca tersebut sebagai neuron input, kemudian hasil dari prosses simulasinya akan dikembalikan lagi sebagai input secara terus menerus sampai mencapai kondisi stabil. Output yang dihasilkan di Cilacap untuk kondisi tidak ada awan (clear) atau awan yang tipis dan sangat sedikit, adalah nilai-nilai atau jarak yang mendekati cerah, hal ini karena unsur-unsur cuacanya adalah dalam kategori cerah. Begitu pula untuk kondisi hujan, output yang dihasilkan adalah nilai-nilai atau jarak yang mendekati hujan, hal ini disebabkan unsur-unsur cuacanya adalah bersifat atau dalam kategori hujan. Untuk kondisi berawan nilai-nilai yang dihasilkan adalah sebagian cerah, sebagian lagi hujan. Klasifikasi pada Hopfield ini menghasilkan output yang tepat, maka sifat-sifat dari unsur-unsur cuaca di Cilacap dapat digunakan untuk prakiraan cuaca.
Weather forecasting is determined by weather substaces, some of them are wind direction, temperature, humidity, and pressure. Cilacap area which have high potentially for flood and dryness is very interesting to be reseached about how characteristics of weather substances. Hopfield Neural Network method have being application for weather forecast because this method can give the recurrent weather classification. This weather substance in Hopfield method as the neuron input and then the result of simulation process will be recurrent as input until reach stabil condition. The result output in Cilacap for the clear condition are the values or the distance near the clear, because the weather substance are in the clear category. And so for rain condition, the output result are the values or the distance near the rain, because the weather substance have the rain character. The research of the values some of them are the clear, and the other are rain. Classification in Hopfield to produce output that are definitely, so characteristics of weather substances in Cilacap that can using for weather forecasting.
