Large scale earthquake precursors have being in research. Soil temperature is one of many earthquake precursors being investigated. SHT11 is relative humidity and temperature sensor as used in this electronically soil temperature measurement apparatus. The sensor temperature property in 20-30 °C range has good accuracy with it’s integrated 14 bit ADC. We need 4 wire connection, 2 for digital data transmission and another 2 for power supply. . This paper describes SHT11 application for soil temperature’s sensor. The soil temperature measurement will do in 1 m, 3 m and 5 m depth. This device got good temperature data, although reliability and durability is unknown for long and continuously measurement time.
