Bali is a potential lightning strike prone area due to its tropical climate with the high probability of rain accompanied by lightning that is also vulnerable due to its high population density. This condition threatens the safety of the lives and property of the population and makes it necessary to study the vulnerability of lightning strikes in Bali. To identify the level of vulnerability to lightning strikes there are two factors, the first is a threatening factor using CG lightning data (2009-2013) and the second is a vulnerability factor using the data of population density and land use for homes and buildings. Both factors were analyzed using the method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) to obtain the level of vulnerability to lightning strikes for each district. The results of the calculations show that Selemadeg Barat, Denpasar, Kuta, Pupuan, Klungkung, and Selemadeg have a high level of vulnerability to lightning strikes, 27 districts are in the middle level and the remaining 21 districts are in a low category.
