ANALISIS SPASIAL INDEKS KEKERINGAN KABUPATEN INDRAMAYU

Analisa spasial indek kekeringan di wilayah Kabupaten Indramayu dilakukan dengan menggunakan 13 pos hujan yang tersebar di wilayah Kabupaten Indramayu selama periode 30 tahun dari tahun 1980 hingga 2009. Penghitungan neraca air dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Thornthwaite-Matter. Hasil analisa indeks kekeringan menunjukkan bahwa wilayah Kabupaten Indramayu mengalami kekeringan dimulai dari bulan April hingga November dengan tingkat kekeringan kategori berat mengalami puncaknya pada bulan September sebesar 86%. Dari analisa spasial indeks kekeringan, pada bulan Juli hingga Oktober secara keseluruhan wilayah kabupaten Indramayu mengalami kekeringan tingkat berat. Wilayah di kabupaten Indramayu yang mengalami kekeringan lebih cepat terjadi di sekitar wilayah Bulak dan Losarang. Hasil penelitian ini menjadi rekomendasi dalam melakukan antisipasi dan mitigasi kekeringan di wilayah kabupaten Indramayu terkait Indramayu sebagai kabupaten penghasil padi terbesar pertama di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Analisa kekeringan dalam penelitian ini merupakan analisa kekeringan secara meteorologis yaitu pendekatan kekeringan yang berdasarkan pada data curah hujan dan evaporasi, belum memperhitungkan secara agronomis.
Spatial analysis of drought index at Indramayu using 13 (thirteen) rain gauge scattered of district Indramayu during the period 30 years from 1980 to 2009 has conducted. The water balance calculation was done with the Thornthwaite-Matter method. Drought index analysis results indicated that Indramayu experiencing drought starting from April to November with a severe level drought index experienced its peak in September by 86%. From the spatial analysis of drought index, from July to October, its district Indramayu relatively experiencing a rate of severe drought. Bulak and Losarang region was experienced faster drought. This research recommended in anticipation and mitigation of drought since Indramayu is the first largest rice-producing region in West Java Province. Analysis of drought in this research is an analysis of meteorological drought based on rainfall data and evaporation, not taking into agronomically.
