Abstract

Sigian geofisika terpadu telah dilakukan di lapangan panasbumi Gedongsongo yang terletak di lereng selatan Gunung Ungaran, Jawa Tengah. Sigian ini dilakukan untuk memperkirakan sebaran zona konduktif dan atau demagnetisasi di bawah permukaan yang erat kaitannya dengan keberadaan sistem panasbumi Gedongsongo. Peta sebaran harga geomagnet menunjukkan adanya anomali rendah di sekitar Kawah Item sampai lereng timur G. Gedongsongo, serta di sekitar Dusun Darum. Anomali rendah ini diduga berasosiasi dengan zona demagnetisasi atau material panas yang boleh jadi hadir sebagai fluida termal. Model tahanan-jenis hasil inversi 2-D data magnetotelurik menunjukkan adanya anomali rendah (<30 ohm-m) pada kedalaman sekitar 400 m di bawah Kawah Item. Ini diduga berkaitan dengan reservoir panasbumi Gedongsongo. Anomali tahanan-jenis sangat tinggi (>10000 ohm-m) dijumpai berbentuk seperti kerucut parasitik gunungapi yang boleh jadi berfungsi sebagai sumber panas. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan adanya korelasi positif antara model-model geomagnet dan magnetotelurik, terutama gambaran sebaran zona konduktif atau demagnetisasi tinggi.
